Hi there!   The big news this month is Backblaze B2 Event Notifications—a new feature designed to streamline and automate data processing workflows for Backblaze B2 customers that is now available for preview. Automate Your Data Processing Workflows With Backblaze B2 Event Notifications Backblaze B2 Event Notifications is a new feature that will allow events in Backblaze B2, such as files being uploaded or deleted, to trigger actions in other systems to operate on those files, such as transcoding video or transforming data. It's straightforward to implement, with notifications sent as webhooks, simple HTTP POST requests to an endpoint in your web application or an integration service. One of the most useful applications of AI in the media and entertainment space is in indexing video collections, providing the ability to search terabytes or petabytes of video with natural language queries such as "show me videos containing a red car". The Twelve Labs platform allows you to build this "human-like video understanding" into your application via their API and SDKs. Nico explains his different requirements for backing up files such as images and logs (just keep the latest) versus databases (keep daily backups for thirty days), as well as how he uses rclone to mount a Backblaze B2 Bucket as a drive so he can easily access his backups.
